The real Shanghai skyline is at street level. Unfortunately, the most interesting neighborhoods are being liquidated. The city thrived in transformation, but the latest changes will erase everything that was uniquely Shanghai. I'm documenting the city's 'residue' using archaic tools and film media that is also dying gracefully.
