Hi. I'm Chris aka Ikusan from Marseille and I think that I'm kind of a photographer even if I still do not accept that title, it is hard to accept it even against what can people say.
I do love pictures, I've been loving them since a long time ago, always curious for what they could tell. I got my first Polaroid when I was 11, took thousand of French Castles (when I imagine the price it had cost! Merci Mami), my surroundings, my family... My studies? I completely missed high school. I've been fired, gone to work at supermarkets,...

I am a book designer and illustrator, I grew up in Siberia. After years of drifting in East Asia I became fascinated by urban form and photography. One day, my family sent me some Soviet cameras and a box of expired DDR film, and this accelerated a transition from digital to analog. Shanghai is a special city, and I feel privileged to explore and document its lesser known corners. These days, I spend my time wandering the streets, hunting down old film stock and swapping eccentric cameras with friends in Shanghai.
