I like photography for its capacity to transport ideas. I like this way to create the reality we want by choosing the frame of a photo : who could say that a photo does not represent reality ? Nobody, however everybody should... Because who is able to claim that the exact opposite tableau was not existing just a little bit on the left or on the right off the photograph at the same moment.
Bolivia in the air 2008 (15 pictures)

This exhibition is the second I present about Bolivia. The fisrt one was about Potosi's mine... not so positive or encouraging... I decided to show another face of this country. This one is related to the incredibly changing atmosphere that you can get when you travel around the country. From the altiplano at four thousand metre high to the dangerous roads going from La Paz to jungle cities such as Coroicco, from the seaside-like titicaca's lake to the incredible salar de Uyuni... Well, the "imaging" here is amazing. Then, I should prepare a third exhibit about people ! So much...

 Namibia on the rock ! - 2009 (16 pictures)

This exhibition relates Namibia as you usually does not see it. I've been there, spent about one month going around from north to south. Many many wild animals other there of course. But there is much more to see in this "nowhere" landscape. It looks like it is the end of the world...

 Potosi's mine - 2003 (15 pictures)

Potosi is a city of 155000 inhabitants, located at 4000m high, in Bolivia. This 400 years old city was created on silver. Here, people still work 12 hours a day in the mine. Along this long history, 8 millions people died here.

lost places, lost images - 2010 (14 pictures)

I always loved lost places. I don't know why, maybe because of the Stephen King's books I was reading when I was 12 or 13, where youngs were spending all their time in special places, waiting for "it" to appear and so on. Maybe also because of my father's garage that has always looked like Ali Baba's cavern. When I arrive in a never visited lost place, my heart beats stronger and I wonder "what will I find this time ?". These pictures all come from a pinhole holga, some from colour film, some from black&white film. There will be a part...
