But what are BOP travelogues?
That requires a bit of explanation, and maybe a bit of history.

At the beginning, many BOP exhibitions were actually not as thematic as they are now, but very geocentric. Some BOP member would go somewhere in the world and bring back a good harvest of pictures, and share it to the world as a BOP exhibition. But as time flew and BOP members evolved in their photography, it became clear that it was not sufficient and that the coherency (the sacro-saint coherency so important for BOP) became attached on stories or concept, rather than on location.
Nonetheless BOP members continued to travel the world ... and to shoot pictures when doing so. It felt as if it was a waste of good pictures, and good stories as BOP members have a tendency to get themselves into trouble. Therefore BOP travelogues came as an idea to create something out of these trips: a mix between writing and pictures, not focused enough to make an exhibition but still interesting in a different way.

Bop travelogues will come in pdf form, to be downloaded on this page. You can use your printer to create a small booklet, but the pictures inside are not in a resolution sufficient to make a good print and will probably be too dark when in print, as they are made for the screen ...
